the red and blue are the same stuff. only diff colors. this way, when your running the blue and switch out the fluid you go with the red. helps you see you got all the old fluid out.

Galfer Carbon Graphite 1003 Compound. Much better than SRJLs.

Jim, since you have ran the vesrah's, how do the 2 compare? how are the galfer carbons on the street?

They are fine, both the Vesrah and the Galfer's work better hot, however they are just fine for street riding cold. Not as good as OEM when Ice Cold, but it does not take long to get them up to a good operating temp. It is not like it is something you have to think about.

The Galfer's have more consistent lever effort and bite than the Vesrah's do, Both last fairly well asd far as track pads go, and on the street they seem to wear very well. The Galfer's are easier to modulate on the track where with the Vesrah's it is almost like they are on or off. when they get really hot. The Galfer's have more of a consistent action, regardless of temp.

Galfer HH with ceramic back. Good initial bite and very easy to modulate. I did notice a small amount of fade at Homestead but that could be attributed to the stock fluid. This was my only choice on short notice for the 848 but it seems they were a good one.

I had Vesrah SRJLs on the RC51, with a radial mount mod using Gixxer 1K calipers, and was very happy with them as well.

I use to use the same stuff. I had it from when I re-did my BMW (car) brakes. Good stuff!!!

For pads I use the Vesrah SRJL's. Great bite, good feedback, no fade, easy on the rotors and they last for every!

I've ran the vesrah rjl's and the sbs sintered race pads and I prefer the sbs sintered for their longer life and equal bite PLUS they are cheaper

but I'm running galfer this season so I'll give a comparo on them after I get to use them first.

oh yeah, the rjl's chipped a lot more and both wore about the same on my rotors.
