My RR build thread

ok so bought it new in 05 0 miles, paid a bit too much for it but it was my first bike after my brother died two years prior. anyways started with the basics ie; slip on blinkers etc etc
(not me in the pic)



leo vince factory Ti slip on (very nice pipe)

then I got a little farther into it and went to a full system and a few other goodies

and that brings me to my new set of mods. I decided to go all the way with this one and started taking her apart. i traded my march's for BST's and got a few other things like

HRC subframe
build motor (2mm over pistons, ported and flowed head, balanced and blueprinted crank, degreed cams)
yoyodyne slipper
brembo floating rotors
brembo MC's
HRC fairing stay
06 harness, ecu, airbox, swingarm
ohlins R&T's




the motor gets here


etc etc etc and its not done yet.

damn thanx metal and mig. I'm trying man. still got a few things to get. the next set of stuff I"m getting is

translogic dash and quickshifter
AP racing monoblocks
underslung rear caliper (don't know which brand yet)
PVM floating rear rotor
HRC radiator

got a few other little things I"m looking at but those are the big ones on the list

third pic sucks I know. sorry just a case slider. the calipers are there for now till I get my monoblocks. more pics coming soon hopefully. once I get the triples on, etc etc

thanx matt,

I"m trying to do everything right. all the small details too

new pads,
new chain and sprockets
new triple bearings
new oil
new brake fluid
new battery
new bolts (TI goin everywhere )
etc etc

goin to see how the clutch feels, I may give it new plates too. don't know yet.

I have to say you have good taste. I Had the same colored bike along with a tommygun arai helmet.
